Senior Blockchain Engineer

About the Role

About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Blockchain Developer to lead the design and development of scalable decentralized applications and smart contract systems. You’ll work across protocol, backend, and frontend layers to build secure, high-performance blockchain solutions for products in DeFi, real estate tokenization, gaming, and digital asset infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep blockchain expertise with strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to mentor other developers.

Responsibilities

• •- Design and develop blockchain-based applications and smart contracts
• •Build secure, upgradeable contracts and decentralized systems on EVM-compatible chains and related ecosystems.
• •- Architect scalable Web3 infrastructure
• •Create backend services, indexing systems, APIs, and wallet integrations that support production-grade dApps.
• •- Lead technical implementation
• •Drive system design, code quality, testing strategy, deployment pipelines, and security best practices.
• •- Collaborate cross-functionally
• •Work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and security teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• •- Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards
• •Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and help establish development processes and architecture patterns.
• •- Ensure security and reliability
• •Perform testing, auditing preparation, monitoring, and incident response for blockchain systems.
• •- Stay current with blockchain technologies
• •Evaluate emerging protocols, tooling, and standards to improve product capabilities and engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• •- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in blockchain/Web3 development.
• •- Strong proficiency in Solidity and smart contract development on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains.
• •- Experience building decentralized applications with React, TypeScript, and modern Web3 libraries (e.g., ethers.js, viem, wagmi).
• •- Solid backend engineering skills with Node.js/TypeScript, REST/GraphQL APIs, and database design.
• •- Understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus, gas optimization, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and wallet/signature flows.
• •- Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• •- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• •- Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed teams.
