THE WORK: We're looking for a Senior Manager, Payment Operations to join our San Francisco office and help scale the operational backbone behind Ripple's payment products. This is a high-impact role at a company redefining how value moves around the world. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Operations, you'll build a scalable, 24/7 operating model that connects complex financial products to seamless operational delivery. You'll support Ripple's core payment products optimizing processes and applying a systems-thinking approach to automate operations at global scale. You'll partner closely with Product, Trading, Risk, Treasury, and Engineering to make execution reliable, fast, and repeatable. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Collaborate with Product, Trading, Treasury, and external customers to ensure timely settlement of crypto and fiat funds across products - Build programs and strategies that identify and resolve discrepancies quickly, coordinating across internal partners and counterparties - Support exchange and bank connectivity, integrating data into core operational processes - Lead the transformation of reconciliation from manual to automated across a suite of products - Assess risks and requirements across asset types, including cryptocurrencies, to respond quickly to market activity and exceptions - Become a go-to expert on finance operational flows by documenting and refining existing processes with key partners - Support a globally distributed customer base for our 24x7 offerings, including weekend and holiday activity WHAT YOU'LL BRING: - 8+ years in operations supporting payment services, trading, or middle office, with at least 2–4 years in a leadership capacity - A sharp eye for detail and the ability to stay organized and solve problems in a fast-moving environment - Familiarity with payment services, collections, markets, and instruments (e.g. OTC, crypto, derivatives) and core reconciliation principles - Comfort working in Google and Microsoft applications (ideally Excel and VBA) - Experience building and/or supporting connectivity with banks, exchanges, or crypto platforms - Exposure to automation initiatives and SQL query creation for daily operations is preferred For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below.
